- Our website's inquiry, contact, and merchant-partner application forms
- Facebook or Instagram lead forms
- WhatsApp conversations initiated with our business number
- Direct email or phone contact
This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, company or business type, and details about your sourcing inquiry (e.g. product interest, order volume, destination country). We do not collect this information from any other source, and we do not require it beyond what is needed to respond to you.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry and provide sourcing quotes or information
- Follow up by email and WhatsApp about your inquiry, including automated follow-up sequences for inquiries that haven't yet been answered
- Maintain a record of our business relationship with you in our customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Improve our services and understand which of our marketing channels are effective
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Who processes your data
Your information is stored in our CRM (Zoho) and, where relevant, in Meta's (Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp) systems as part of how those platforms deliver leads and messages to us. These providers act as data processors on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments — we don't control their systems directly, but we only use them to operate Tradeila's own business communications with you, not to grant them independent use of your data.
International transfers
Because Tradeila operates across India, China, Nepal, Hong Kong, Vietnam, your information may be accessed or processed by our team members in any of these locations, and may be stored on servers located outside your own country. We take reasonable steps to keep your data secure regardless of where it is processed.
Cookies and analytics
Our website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we enable tools such as Google Analytics in the future, we will update this policy accordingly before doing so.
How long we keep it
We retain your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business relationship, and as required for our own legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing info@tradeila.com. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time.
